NSW Police Rugby League, have adopted Police dog Chuck as a hero. The pure-bred German shepherd was involved in an awe inspiring classic tackle on NSW's most wanted man Malcolm Naden, early yesterday morning near Gloucester in the Barrington Tops, NSW. Coach of the NSW Police Rugby League team, Superintendent Craig Sheridan said, "Chuck showed the courage and tenacity we will use against the Queensland Police team in this years State of orgin prelude game at ANZ Stadium on the 13th of June". Superitendent Sheridan joked, "I might get Chuck down to a few of our training sessions to bark a few instructions to the players, regarding tackling technique."
